About KOVA
Durability and quiet beauty are the same discipline.
KOVA is a California house of waterproof flooring. We make planks meant to be lived on hard and looked at softly — engineered for water and wear, finished with the patience of a craft studio.

Our conviction
We believe a floor is the quietest, most demanding surface in a home — walked on daily, spilled on, dragged across, and asked, all the while, to look effortless.
[Placeholder] KOVA exists to resolve that tension. A rigid, waterproof core for the demands of real life; a deep, honest grain for the eye. Two disciplines, practised as one.
Shokunin · 職人
Made the slow way, on purpose.
[Placeholder] Our planks are engineered around a dense mineral core, sealed against water on every edge, and dressed in a wear layer chosen for the way it ages rather than the way it photographs.
[Placeholder] We test for flatness, lock integrity, and acoustic comfort — because a floor reveals its quality not on day one, but in year ten.
What guides us
Three things we refuse to rush
Material truth
[Placeholder] We start from the material — its weight, its grain, the way light falls across it — and let the product follow.
Restraint
[Placeholder] A floor should recede. We design for calm: nothing louder than it needs to be, nothing that competes with the room.
Care in the detail
[Placeholder] Registered embossing, painted bevels, tight tolerances. The details you rarely notice are the ones we labour over.
California
Designed and engineered in California, for the way the West Coast lives.
